We are very excited to share with you Superior, a bulky-weight 2-ply yarn made from a blend of 70% US alpaca and 30% US Merino wool.
Superior has a soft, silky hand and is named after the greatest of all the Great Lakes: Lake Superior. She is one of the largest freshwater lakes in the world, by both area and volume. To the Ojibwe, she is Gitchegami or “Great Sea,” and she has a mystery and folklore all her own.
Our Superior is dyed using unique hand-dye applications in beautiful colors that reflect the world around us — from the soft hues of nature to the bright pops of geekdom.
