Huron, a Wonderful Worsted Weight Yarn

Huron is a sturdy 100% superwash US Merino worsted-weight yarn. Items made with this yarn can be machine washed without risk of felting and your colors will be more brilliant and saturated because of how superwash wool reflects light.

Huron is named after the second largest of the Great Lakes, which was, in turn, named after the Huron (or Wyandot) people that have lived in this region for hundreds of years.  Lake Huron is a sportsperson’s lake, famous for its fishing and boating on both the Canadian and US sides.

This is a yarn that can keep up with whatever you have going on! It works well for hard-wearing accessories, as well as washable items for kids and babies.
