We are really excited about our Huron, our worsted weight yarn. It’s soft, but durable. It takes color brilliantly and doesn’t fade in the wash. I made this hat to show off both the speckled colorways and Huron itself. Knit at a somewhat loose gauge, this hat is a classic piece that would make a great gift for your knit-worthy loved ones.
Freckled Hat is an easy breezy knit in squish-able, washable Huron. You can knit it long and slouchy if you are yearning for your hipster days, or as a close-fitting watchcap for cold winter mornings when you mean business. We opted for a fun speckled colorway, Purple Rain (dyed by Michelle in honor of Prince), but this hat would look great in solids or stripes too!
